AT&T is the largest pay TV service in the US including DirecTV, ahead of Comcast. Its OTT services are DirecTV Now and the U-Verse App. It also has operations in Latin America with its acquisitions of DirecTV, Iusacell and Nextel Mexico. Operations and figures: AT&T had Q1 2017 revenue of $39.4 billion, down from $40.5 billion the previous year. Net income dropped $300 million to $3.5 billion. AT&T said it ended the first quarter of 2017 with 25 million US video subs, of which 21 million are satellite and 4 million are on U-verse – a decline of 233,000 in the period.
