One of the biggest challenges for WiFi chip suppliers is to support high end video transmission around the home over the WLAN. This is an area where two specialist vendors, Celeno and Quantenna, rule the roost, scoring deal after deal for WiFi in operator-controlled set-top boxes and home gateways. Quantenna has been dominating tier one carrier deals in the US of late, but its Israeli rival looks set for a comeback there.
