Qualcomm’s transition away from its core market of smartphone processors and chipsets continued at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), with wearables, VR/AR and automotive featuring prominently in its releases. Leading the charge was the new flagship Snapdragon 835 system-on-chip (SoC), which is in production and expected in devices in the first half of this year.
