There is a distinctly Chinese flavor to the latest ETSI Industry Specification Group, which is looking at standard ways to use AI techniques to simplify telco network management and improve the experience the networks deliver. China Telecom and Huawei are to lead the new project, called ISG ENI (Experiential Networked Intelligence), which first came to light at February’s Mobile World Congress.
