When he took the helm at Ericsson in October, many were concerned that Börje Ekholm was too conservative a choice for a company which badly needs new blood and new directions. The five-month wait for his strategic plan to be revealed has not calmed those fears, and now it has been unveiled, there are few signs of the radical thinking which Ericsson badly needs to regain its former glories.
