We have been expecting the major US broadband operators in 2016 to move rapidly to deploy software that allows both the consumer and the help desk to control how WiFi is operating in the home, but it has been Comcast which has leapfrogged other operators to offer this, by stating at CES that 10 million of its customers will have it in the first half of 2017, a number expected to rise to 15 million by the end of 2017.
