The Daily Telegraph newspaper in the UK revealed in an interview with TalkTalk CEO Dido Harding, that the company was employing 500 engineers to work on its new TalkTalk TV service. This will use YouView as a launch springboard and be delivered almost entirely online. The company inherited a host of content rights when it bought Tiscali TV, which acquired the HomeChoice London based IPTV service, which still operates. The idea is to use the French approach and bundle TalkTalk TV for the price of broadband and telephony.
