Online French music streaming service Deezer has announced its full entrance into the US market this week, in a move which has the potential to put pressure on other players such as Spotify and Apple Music, but equally one that could see it squeezed straight back out of the country. The catch looming over this news is that there will be no free, ad-supported option as Deezer offers in its other territories – deciding to only roll out its $9.99 monthly service in the US.
