Things will get worse for the mobile network OEMs before they get better, especially if they remain too reliant on cellular network equipment. This is the message of a new set of predictions from analysts at Dell’Oro Group, which forecast that RAN sales will fall by “high single digits” in value in 2017, and that there will be no uptick until 2021.
