France Télévisions is serving up live tennis matches in virtual reality (VR) at this year’s Roland Garros tournament in Paris, in partnership with the all-French line up of technology companies VideoStitch, Push-Pull TV, and FireKast. The top three courts at the tournament, which is currently underway, will all feature a VideoStitch Orah 4i live VR camera positioned above the umpire’s chair – each camera has four separate lenses recording at 2048×1536 pixels and 30fps, with a price tag of $1,995.
