Vodafone has published its annual IoT Barometer, and compared to last year, adoption was up by only 1% – and given the apparent enthusiasm for the IoT, this seems like particularly poor performance for the year. Of the 1,278 respondents 29% said they have adopted IoT compared to 28% last year. The report indicates that like 2016, 2017 was no watershed year for IoT deployments and that the quiet adoption was still the norm.
