Thankfully for most of those attending NRF, bricks-and-mortar shops weren’t killed by the likes of Amazon and eBay, contrary to what a number of headlines have proclaimed in the past decade. The National Retail Federation was the stage for plenty of announcements, with Intel charging into retail, Verizon signing up WiFi orders, and the Acuitas Digital alliance rearing its head with Thomas Pink.
