A worrying insight thrown up by the latest edition of the IoT Business Index, published last week by The Economist’s Intelligence Unit (EIU), is that industry professionals are more concerned about pricing than they are about security. In the survey, sponsored by IBM and ARM, 29% of executives from various industries said that the high cost of IoT infrastructure posed the greatest challenge, while just 26% said that security was their chief IoT concern. The results contrast with those from the same poll in 2013.
