Rogers launched Anyplace TV in 2012, and the shomi joint OTT venture with Shaw went live in August 2015, but closed down on November 30th 2016. There is also the CityTV network OTT app for catch-up TV. Rogers now licenses the Comcast X1 platform, after scrapping its in-house Eclipse IPTV service which was due to launch at the end of 2016. Operations and figures: Q2 2017 revenue up 5% to US$2.9 billion, with net income up 20% to $410 million. Cable revenue was flat in the period at $693 million, while its wireless business saw the best growth, up 6% to $1.63 billion.
