Shaw was working with Rogers on shomi, a SVoD rival to Netflix, but has always had its own TV Everywhere OTT video service called Shaw Go.  This was upgraded in January 2016 with Comcast Technology so that Shaw can use its X1 hybrid set top. The service has been renamed to Freerange TV. Operations and figures: Q3 results revenue Canadian $1.28 billion or US$972m (up 13%).
