Swisscom launched its TV 2.0 initiative in April 2014, and expects a fairly rapid migration from its older Mediaroom based TV platform. TV 2.0 is sold as a triple bundle, whereas 1.0 was standalone. IT has won a number of awards and is seen as using leading edge technology.   Operations and figures: Swisscom reported first half 2017 revenue of $5.9 billion, down 1.4%, with net income of $868 million, up 6%. Approximately half of this revenue decline was caused by the declining subscriber base in the fixed line telephony business.
