An additional 68 million virtual reality headsets are set to hit the US by 2021 – fueling $4.6 billion in revenue in that time frame, according to a report out this week from UK consulting giant PwC. While we have no reservations that VR will be big, especially in the US, the report seems to have overstated its growth in the wider media landscape.
