Access, the Japanese mobile and IoT connectivity pioneer, has announced two wins, with Skyworth and TCL, for its smart TV and set top software offerings. The blurry overlap between Access’ NetRange subsidiary (acquired in 2019) and Access’ NetFront browser remains, but this is the first RDK win for Access since a strategic reevaluation – and promises to be the first of many.
