Almost every technical minded newspaper this morning has pictures of the futuristic looking Airbus concept planes, one in particular which looks like a radical redesign for the future of air flight. The pictures come on the back of an announcement by Airbus that it wishes to pursue, with the help of European governments, a future based on hydrogen flight. This is the first time that the “climate change” nettle has been grasped by a major aircraft manufacturer and is in harsh contrast to the behavior of largest aircraft builder in the world, America’s Boeing.
