Astro Malaysia has launched addressable advertising across its linear video service with help from the Synamedia Iris advertising platform. This is the first full launch of addressable advertising across a Southeast Asian operator, with advertisers now able to dynamically target users across Astro’s linear and digital footprints. Iris is a SaaS platform with three distinct services buckets – decisioning and targeting, then measurement and analytics, then ad insertion.
