Ateme has added support for HDR10+ into its Titan Live transcoders, specifically by enabling the HDR metadata to be included alongside the regular SDR image – allowing decoders to add the two data streams together, and create a HDR image for display. Crucially, this is now part of the live content production workflow, and no longer just confined to VoD, and is a claimed world first. However, HDR10+ was predominantly a Samsung initiative, which debuted in a partnership announcement with Amazon Prime Video.
