Leading AT&T executives this week – CEO Randall Stephenson and CEO of AT&T Communications, John Donovan – clarified the company’s future video strategy, promising new services this year and next, embracing Mobile TV First, Cloud PVR, and an OTT full TV package, as concepts. Stephenson was speaking at a JP Morgan conference and Donovan at the MoffettNathanson conference on the same day. The new buzzword coming out of this was WatchTV, a new $15 skinny bundle specifically for mobile, which will also come in a “free edition” for mobile customers on premium phone packages.
