Senator Manchin is still opposed to the originally $3.5 trillion Build Back Better budget reconciliation after its halving in size to $1.75 trillion – but the lesser $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill, which was already passed 69-30 through the Senate, has now passed the House and will be signed into law by the President on Monday.
