There is no doubt cybersecurity in its various guises poses an increasing challenge to operators in the 5G era and that there is growing uncertainty over how best to mitigate risks, some of which are well known and others less so. It is easy to drown in the ever-flowing tide of reports warning of dangers often presented from the standpoint of technology providers with vested interests in selling particular products.
