At least 16 offshore wind farms will be approved off the Pacific coast of California by 2025, according to an announcement made by the US Interior Department’s Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) – the organization responsible for completing the reviews – marking a jump-start to what could be one of the hottest markets for floating wind in the world.
