We are still weeks away from China releasing its 14th Five-Year Plan to guide its economic and social development between 2021 and 2025, but as many of the country’s 22 provinces outline their own contributions, combined offshore wind targets look set to surpass 32 GW. This will more than triple current installed capacity, as regional subsidy schemes emerge to offset the phase out of the country’s existing Feed-in-Tariff.
