Claro Brazil, owned by América Móvil, launched Claro Video in Brazil in 2013. Claro has further operations in Brazil through its brands Net Servicos and Embratel in fixed lines, wireless and cable services, and Telmex Solutions in enterprise solutions. Operations and figures: Claro lost 161,000 pay TV subscribers in Q2 2019, with a video base of around 8.4 million subs in total, and pay TV revenues continued to fall, by 8.5% year on year. Claro also added 81,000 broadband accesses in the second quarter, with a total 35.2 million subscribers across fixed line, including broadband and TV.
