Cox Communications is a US privately owned subsidiary of Cox Enterprises offering cable TV and broadband—launching its TV Everywhere app in 2011. Cox’s streaming strategy relies solely on copying Comcast, the most recent move being to offer Flex streaming devices.   Operations and figures: Because it is private, Cox only puts out numbers infrequently and the last reported figures put it on about 6 million customers, 4.4 million of which were on cable TV at the time. However, it would be safe to assume that Cox has since slumped below 4 million pay TV subscribers today given the current climate. On last count, around 2016, some 3.5 million subs took broadband services from Cox and 3.2 million were fixed line…
