Dell’s recent AI project, alongside SK Telecom and other partners, claims to drive revenue growth and protect subscriber churn by connecting a telco LLM with legacy BSS systems. Of course, the package requires the use of Dell’s on-premises servers and telco cloud products. These types of sales pitches will be key to the survival of IT equipment vendors, and especially for Dell, which is focusing increasingly on AI-related products after announcing a fresh round of job cuts.
