Equinor has embarked on the licensing process for what could be the largest offshore wind farm to date, as interest starts to gather around one of the largest untapped markets in the world – Brazil. The Aracatu complex consists of two regions with the potential to house between 2 GW and 2.33 GW of capacity, 20 kilometers off the coast of Rio de Janeiro and Espirito Santo.
