Equinor has tweaked its climate targets for the second time this year, this time pledging itself to net-zero emissions by 2050. We’ve heard such pledges before, but these targets are not all of equal merit, and Equinor has come much closer to hitting the nail on the head than its predecessors, despite remaining bullish on oil in the near-term.
