Hold everything, Ford came out this week and said that it too would double down on EVs, echoing General Motors announcement of a week earlier. In theory that would mean that Tesla, GM and now Ford – the great bulk of cars designed and built in the US – are all committed to EVs. Hold on a second, let’s read between these lines.
