The French Finance minister Bruno Le Maire was reported by Reuters this week saying that a total of 7 European countries were now aligned in preventing their Export Guarantees being entirely at the beck and call of fossil fuels groups. It was already apparent that Germany, France and the UK are on board, after the debacle last summer when all three were caught backing a Mozambique LNG terminal. Le Maire is now hoping to entice Joe Biden in the US to the same position. That would just leave China, Japan and South Korea to convince.
