Anyone who heard Duke Energy’s Chairman, President and CEO Lynn Good this week could not believe for a moment that she does not believe every word she says. She is convincing that she is caring, sharing and is working hard for shareholders. It is however questionable that she is wiser than all of the investors who attended the annual shareholder meeting, an idea she tried to convey. It is at this meeting that they complained about a complete lack of transparency from Duke, it being a laggard in regards to natural gas and moving to renewables and that political contributions and lobbying payments were hidden and that giving the board a super majority simply was unfair in that it crushed…
