We often have to remind ourselves that our service is about changes in global energy usage, transitioning from fossil fuels to renewables, and the business opportunities that leads to. It is not directly about Climate Change, nor should it be, others do that job fine. But when a gun-shot sounds it turns heads, and this week’s repeat of the production gap report from the UN Environment Program, states the problem loudly and clearly – that most governments are spending almost all of their money supporting fossil fuels, or the old existing economy, to the point where there will be no cash left for renewables.
