Kaltura has been kissed by the curse of the Zoom rival. The US video software specialist reported a dip in revenue of 4% to $43 million for third quarter 2022. While a 13% revenue decline in the Media and Telecom segment is cause for concern, Kaltura should be more worried about the stagnation in its bread winning business – Enterprise, Education and Technology – at a 1% drop off. These are not the numbers of a company that, shortly after its Nasdaq debut in July 2021, was being valued at $1.2 billion.
