KT launched its first streaming service Olleh TV in 2012, followed by the OTT offering Telebee in September 2017, via its DTH arm KT Skylife. However, in January 2020, reports emerged claiming that Telebee will stop streaming imminently, although the Android TV set top will reportedly continue working.   Operations and figures: KT gained an impressive half a million IPTV subscribers over the course of 2019, after onboarding 122,000 in the fourth quarter—totaling 8.35 million. As a result, revenue from media and content operations jumped 13.5% year on year to 2,740 billion, while digital T-commerce revenues were up 23.1%.
