It’s been a busy week for the offshore wind sector. Not least with a report published that highlights that global installed capacity could explode to 1,400 GW in just 30 years – up from 28 GW today. While only 5 markets currently only have 1 GW or more installed (UK, Germany, China, Denmark, Belgium), activity is starting to show that almost all regions with available natural resource could join the party in the run up to 2050.
