Meyer Burger has become the latest solar manufacturer attracted to the US market this week, with its announcement of 400 MW of high-performance production capacity by the end of 2022. This will be module manufacturing – Meyer Burger’s announced facilities in Germany have featured more cell than module production capacity – with final site selection expected for the end of this year, while procurement of necessary machinery is already underway.
