Special Report: US spectrum and FWA As we analyze this week (see below), the US operators are highly active in deploying 5G fixed wireless access (FWA). This is despite the many challenges to that business model in a country where there is rising investment in fiber access in urban and suburban areas, and where the business case for a rural-only roll-out is difficult to make.
