It’s been a big week for perovskite solar, with Oxford PV gaining $10 million funding from the German government to support expansion of its manufacturing capacity, Toshiba announcing on Friday that it will commercialize both tandem and thin-film perovskites by 2025, investor Magnora ASA acquiring a 28.44% interest in Swedish startup Evolar. Oxford PV is the most advanced perovskite company in the world, although a couple of Chinese companies are not far behind in terms of raw manufacturing capacity to come online in 2021 and the end of this year.
