Pew coughs up numbers on US energy, EIA forecasts 2020 changes

We usually have quite a lot of time for the Pew Research Center in the US, and in the age of fake news, it is nice to know that it has a history of telling us truths about Americans – like it or loathe it, it tends to be true. But we’re not quite sure what motivated it to put out a report which stated very clearly what most inquisitive Americans already know, and that’s how little impact renewables have had when lined up against the serried ranks of fossil fuels that make up the entire US energy landscape.
