Proximus (Belgium)

Belgium’s incumbent telco Proximus (nee Belgacom) launched its TV Everywhere service TV Partout in 2011, which was rebranded as Proximus TV in 2017 and the newer Pickx platform was unveiled in mid-2019.   Operations and figures: Proximus gained 5,000 video subscribers in Q2 2019, ending the quarter with 1.63 million TV subs. Its largest user base is on mobile with just over 4.8 million subscribers, slipping slightly in Q2 by a loss of 4,000 customers in total across postpaid and prepaid. The fixed line business grew by 6,000 in the quarter to just over 2 million.
