Vestas has secured an order for what is set to be the world’s largest wind turbine. The units will be part of EnBW’s 900 MW He Dreiht project, which is set to come online in the German North Sea in 2025. The 15 MW turbine will host blades of 115.5 meters in length. Serial production will be running from 2024, according to the company. Shell will join forces with Aker Clean Hydrogen, ACH, and CapeOmega to develop a project in Akura, Norway, focusing on the production of Blue hydrogen.
