Norderland Group has sold a 365 MW onshore wind farm portfolio to enercity Erneuerbare, for an undisclosed fee.
OX2 has completed the 286 MW Andberg wind farm in Sweden and handed it over to private investment house Ardian.
Siemens Gamesa has secured an order to supply turbines for EPS’ 66 MW Kostolac onshore wind farm in Serbia. The project is due to come online in 2024.
Results are in from Ireland’s Renewable Energy Support Scheme (RESS 2) auction. In total, 1.9 GW of capacity has been awarded, up from 1.2 GW in the previous auction rounds, with an average spike price of €97.87 per MWh, which is up from €74.08 per MWh. In total, 1.5 GW of solar projects were awarded, including contracts for Soleire Renewables, while 414 MW of new onshore wind capacity has been granted with contracts. Under the RESS scheme, the projects will be eligible to receive a guaranteed price for up to 16.5 years of their lifespan.
Enercon has secured a 19 MW turbine supply agreement for Ripple Energy’s Kirk Hill wind farm in Ayrshire, Scotland. Construction is due to commence later this year with commissioning planned for 2023 or 2024.
Ireland’s Simply Blue Group has unveiled plans for up to 5 GW of floating wind capacity in Sweden. The capacity would be split between two projects: the 2 GW Skidbladner wind farm located 100 kilometers south-east of Stockholm; and the 2.75 GW Herkules project planned for approximately 60 kilometers south-east of the Island of Gotland.
Greencoat Renewables will acquire a 65 MW portfolio of four operating wind farms in France from Swiss renewable energy producer Axpo. The 16 MW Arcy-Précy wind farm was commissioned in September 2021. The 9.4 MW Butte de Manonville wind farm was commissioned in July 2021. The 20.3 MW Genonville wind farm was commissioned in March 2022, while the 19.8 MW Grande Piece wind farm was commissioned in October 2018.
