Worth Noting: Rohde & Schwarz expands WiFi chipset testing with Broadcom Germany’s Rohde & Schwarz (R&S) has assembled tailored test systems for Broadcom’s WiFi 6E chipsets, which operate in the 6 GHz band. This comes in collaboration with Broadcom, which will use the R&S CMP180 wireless device test platform validated for its new chipsets. R&S noted that some features of WiFi 6E, such as its wider bandwidth and use of 1024QAM modulation, can pose problems for test and measurement equipment.
