The net metering debacle continues apace in the US, with an official filing from the New England Ratepayers Association (NERA) and a brief comments deadline leading to calls for 90 day extensions and hundreds of intervention calls, either unanimously calling for things to stay as they are, or at the very least asking for a seat at the table when the case begins. Large utilities such as PG&E, San Diego Gas & Electric Company, Delmarva Power, PECO Energy, the Potomac Electric Power Company, Atlantic City Electric, BGE, ComEd, Northern States Power Company, the Public Service Company of Colorado and the Electric Power Supply Association have all filed calls to intervene, along with virtually every public utilities commission in the US.…
