In its 5G build-out, T-Mobile USA has transformed from a follower in terms of advanced network technology, to a leader. It is now seeking to compete with Verizon and AT&T on the basis of network quality as well as clever marketing and pricing, and has been the USA’s first major MNO to hit various milestones, including 5G Standalone and 600 MHz 5G coverage. The latest technology that is enhancing its quality of experience, according to tests by Signals Research Group (SRG), is 5G Multiuser MIMO (MU-MIMO).
