América Móvil subsidiary Telmex launched its Claro Video SVoD offering in November 2012 outside Mexico, and later launched on home turf. Operations and figures: Telmex does not have pay TV in Mexico, only OTT video. Rethink TV puts the Claro service on around 2.5 million subscribers in 2019, forecast to rise to 3.3 million by 2023. It ended Q3 2019 with 22.16 million fixed line subscribers, adding some 350,000 in a year. Of these, 9.7 million are broadband lines, which increased by 3.6%. There are also 76.1 million wireless subscribers, up by about 1.3 million over a year. Revenues at the Mexican operation totaled $3.7 billion in Q3, up 2.9% year on year.
