Israel has become the latest country to updatae its decarbonization targets, with a plan to slash emissions by 85% between 2015 and 2050. Within its plan, the Israeli government has outlined specific targets for emissions from transport, the electricity sector and municipal waste. Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said the move would lead to a “clean, efficient and competitive economy” and put Israel at the forefront of the battle against climate change.
